The Midwives Model of Care includes:
The application of this woman-centered model of care has been proven to reduce the incidence of birth injury, trauma, and cesarean section.
Welcome to Birth works,
I am Robin Massey, CPM mother of 7 children. My first daughter was born by an unessacary cesarean section. I had my next three VBAC children in a hospital and was not happy with the care for my child, or myself. It was a disconnect that left me looking for better!!! I began my path of homebirth's with a Midwife during the pregnancy of my son, he was almost 10lbs, born safely, and peacefully in my bedroom with my family by my side. We happily, choose to have our final two children at home also, our last was a beautiful water birth.
I have been attending births since 2000. I began attending home births under the Midwives model of care in 2009. I am certified under the guidelines set out for midwives with NARM (North American Registry of Midwives).
I have attended over 300 births, I have been able to attend childbirths in several states, along with a voluntary stay at Mama Baby Haiti. I am thrilled to be able to assist families on their journey to welcome their child naturally, into their family. Safety is the ultimate priority to me, along with a peaceful, and rewarding birth experience for each family.
Having a baby is an important life altuing, natural, and normal physiological event, As such we treat each family with respect, honesty, and holistically.
We are here to be on this sacred journey with you. We offer open, honest complete informed consent, and respect your choices based on your autonomy,
